Last week we celebrated Harmony Day. Our liturgy helped us to focus on and celebrate our cultural diversity, inclusiveness and respect for everyone in our school, community and Australia.
We continue to pray for each other and our world to strengthen us to respect, forgive and to support everyone we meet.
All classes were involved in activities to highlight their responsibility to create harmony in their lives and the lives of others.

📜🇦🇺 Year 4 Rocks Walking Excursion 🇦🇺📜 Last week, our Year 4 students enjoyed a fantastic day exploring The Rocks and stepping back in time to learn about the arrival of the First Fleet. Students participated in an engaging guided tour, discovering what life was like for convicts, settlers, and Aboriginal peoples during the early days of European settlement. They explored historic sites, visited the museum, and developed a deeper understanding of the significant events that helped shape Australia’s history. It was wonderful to see our students asking thoughtful questions, making connections to their classroom learning, and bringing history to life through hands-on experiences. 🌎 🌭 Celebrating Success and Cultural Diversity! 🌭 🌎 What an incredible achievement! All classes have successfully landed their 10 parachutes, and our Matty Puzzle has been completed! This milestone is a testament to our students’ commitment to meeting our school expectations of being safe, respectful and responsible learners. To celebrate this fantastic accomplishment, all students enjoyed a hot dog lunch and a special day recognising the many cultures and backgrounds that make up our wonderful school community. With the FIFA World Cup inspiring nations around the globe, students proudly wore cultural clothing, traditional dress, cultural colours or soccer jerseys representing their favourite participating country.
