Last week we celebrated Harmony Day. Our liturgy helped us to focus on and celebrate our cultural diversity, inclusiveness and respect for everyone in our school, community and Australia.
We continue to pray for each other and our world to strengthen us to respect, forgive and to support everyone we meet.
All classes were involved in activities to highlight their responsibility to create harmony in their lives and the lives of others.

๐ ๐ AFL Paul Kelly Cup ๐ ๐ Today, our students had an exciting opportunity to participate in the AFL Paul Kelly Cup. Throughout the day, they demonstrated outstanding teamwork, sportsmanship, determination and skill while proudly representing our school on the football field. A highlight of the day was the chance to meet Giants AFL players, who shared their experiences and inspired students with their dedication and passion for the game. Students loved interacting with the players, asking questions, collecting autographs and learning more about what it takes to succeed both on and off the field. We are incredibly proud of all students who participated and represented our school with enthusiasm and respect. ๐ถโโ๏ธ๐ฒ National Road Safety Week ๐ฒ๐ถโโ๏ธ This week, our students participated in National Road Safety Week with a strong focus on bicycle safety and making safe choices on and around our roads. Throughout the week, students engaged in a variety of learning experiences to build their understanding of road safety. On Monday, students watched educational videos and took part in interactive Kahoot quizzes to test and extend their knowledge. On Tuesday and Wednesday, we heard from students who ride to school as they shared valuable safety tips and explained how they stay safe on their journey to and from school. Students then demonstrated their learning by designing and colouring a bicycle helmet and writing a personal pledge outlining how they promise to stay safe when riding their bikes. To conclude the week, students participated in National Walk Safely to School Day on Friday, where they applied their road safety knowledge by walking or riding to school safely and responsibly. ๐ฆ ๐ฟ Year 6 River Explorers ๐ฟ ๐ฆ Recently, our Year 6 Scientists completed a field study visit at Windsor Beach. This valuable learning experience enabled students to explore the river ecosystem, investigating how living things interact, adapt and change over time while developing their scientific understanding through fieldwork and data collection. As part of the investigation, students observed both biotic and abiotic features of the ecosystem and conducted a range of water quality tests including turbidity, pH, water temperature and water colour to assess the health of the river. We are incredibly grateful for the knowledge and support shared by Marty, Community Bushcare Officer from Hawkesbury City Council, and Monique, our local Landcare Coordinator. Also thank you to Mr Lans from Bede Polding who loaned us the testing equipment.
