Last week we celebrated Harmony Day. Our liturgy helped us to focus on and celebrate our cultural diversity, inclusiveness and respect for everyone in our school, community and Australia.
We continue to pray for each other and our world to strengthen us to respect, forgive and to support everyone we meet.
All classes were involved in activities to highlight their responsibility to create harmony in their lives and the lives of others.

β¨π Welcome Night 2026 πβ¨ What a fantastic evening bringing our school community together! Our Welcome Night was filled with laughter, connection and plenty of fun as families, staff and students gathered to celebrate the start of a new year together. From the jumping castle and obstacle course to delicious pizza, great music from the DJ and lots of socialising, there was something for everyone to enjoy! It was wonderful to see new friendships forming and familiar faces reconnecting. Nights like these remind us how special our school community truly is. βοΈ ππ» Morning Prayer Gathering ππ» βοΈ This morning we gathered together as a school community for prayer, reflecting on the beginning of the Lenten season. It was especially wonderful to hear some of our year one students bravely speaking for the very first time on the microphone β what a beautiful way to share their journey with us. We are so proud of their courage and confidence. As we enter this sacred season of Lent, we take time to pause, reflect, and grow together in faith. βοΈ ASH WEDNESDAY βοΈ Today we gathered as a community to mark Ash Wednesday, the beginning of the sacred season of Lent. Today we received ashes on our foreheads in the shape of a cross, a gentle reminder that we belong to God and are called to turn our hearts back to Him. As we begin this Lenten journey, we remember the words of Jesus in the Gospel of Matthew 6:21: βFor where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.β During these 40 days, we are invited to pray more deeply, give generously and care for those in need. π₯ β¨ Shrove Tuesday β¨ π₯ To celebrate Shrove Tuesday, students and staff came together to enjoy delicious pancakes while raising money for Caritas Australia through Project Compassion. Throughout the day, our students learned about the importance of helping those in need and how their small acts of kindness can make a big difference in the lives of others.
