💛💙 ⛪️ Diocesan Education Mass ⛪️ 💙💛 Today our Year 6 leaders attended the Diocesan Education Mass at St Patrick’s Cathedral in Parramatta. This was an occasion for students of Catholic schools in the Diocese of Parramatta to gather with Leaders and Diocesan Priests to celebrate their role in the mission of the Church. Our leaders represented our school with reverence and pride. Our students met with Bishop Vincent and shared with him a little about their life here at St Matthew’s.

⛪️ 🌸 St Matthew’s Day 🌸 ⛪️ On Thursday 21st September, we will be celebrating the Feast of St Matthew. St Matthew’s Day provides us with an opportunity to celebrate the wonderful characteristics of our school, by coming together in prayer and participating in a day that builds community and belonging. As part of the celebration, a sausage sizzle lunch will be provided to students. Gluten, Nut and Dairy Free options will be provided. Parents are welcome to send in an alternate lunch if they do not wish for their child to receive a sausage sandwich. Families are welcome to join in the celebrations by attending our school mass at 10am and/or bringing an afternoon tea picnic to share with your children, on our school grounds, at 1:15pm. This will be followed by our class team quiz and disco.

Indigenous students unite for Hawkesbury Immersion Day
115 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students from four Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD) schools have come together at Bede Polding College Windsor for a memorable Hawkesbury Cultural Immersion Day, helping them better understand and identify with their cultural background.
