Last week we celebrated Harmony Day. Our liturgy helped us to focus on and celebrate our cultural diversity, inclusiveness and respect for everyone in our school, community and Australia.
We continue to pray for each other and our world to strengthen us to respect, forgive and to support everyone we meet.
All classes were involved in activities to highlight their responsibility to create harmony in their lives and the lives of others.

β¨ Kindergarten Visit Fitzgerald Aged Care β¨ Today Kindergarten put their Faith into action and made some new friends at Fitzgerald Aged Care. The students and residents enjoyed some songs of praise and created some beautiful jewellery made from coloured pasta. The room was full of excitement and happiness as new friendships were made. βοΈ Yarn Circle βοΈ Today we welcomed Ted Langford from Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese Jarara Cultural Centre to St Matthew's. Uncle Ted joined our students for a yarn and shared stories of his own life and totem as an Indigenous man. Thank you Uncle Ted for always supporting our students at St Matthew's!
